Board of Assistants Meeting

Hello Everyone,

 

We have a meeting room reserved at the Laramie County Public Library for August 14^th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.  It is one of the larger rooms called the Willow Room and it is on the first floor.  We will be discussing several items of concern.

 

So far on the agenda:

· 501c3 application – Fee, needed information

· Education Scholarship Policy (501c3) – how are we going to provide   educational scholarships/awards for students

         1.       Mayflower Junior members and requirements                                          2.       History Day Award(s) – How much, how many, and requirements         3.       Partnership(s) with other genealogical societies.

· May 2011 meeting and plans for Governor General to attend

         1.       Gift

         2.       Costs/Expenses

         3.       Dinner

         4.       Location

· Wyoming Dept of Revenue training – they will come to our meeting and give us a free training on our newly acquired tax exempt status and how to use it.  Should we give them 2 hours?
